In this role, a successful candidate will be responsible for working within the buying team to procure and market products which includes identifying, developing, negotiating price and terms while maximizing multi-platform opportunities.
The successful applicant must be organised, capable of responding effectively and promptly to issues and have the willingness to solve practical problems. All training will be provided, however, experience in a sales role and office environment is welcome.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pro-actively looking for new products and areas of expansion
- Overseeing all aspects of sourcing and procurement for products
- Researching and developing relationships with suppliers
- Reviewing market trends and opportunities
- Analysing sales and key metrics to identify business opportunities
- Marketing products across all marketplaces in multiple languages
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, and time management
- The ability to work on their own initiative, accurately and effectively under pressure
- Ability to analyze data and draw relevant conclusions that drive positive effects for the business
- Excellent oral, written and telephonic communication skills
- Skilled with spreadsheet software
- Proactive attitude, detail-oriented, and a team player
- A genuine desire to learn and grow within a small but high performing team
